The Zelfa concession was derived from the “Cap Bon Marin” exploration permit instituted in April 1992. it’s an offshore bloc, located in the basin of Hammamet and covers an area of 100 Km2,

The current interest in the Zelfa concession is as follows:

• TOPIC SA: 43.75% (operator);
• Sinochem/Atlantis: 22.75%.
• ETAP: 30.00%;
• Klabzuba: 3.5%.

The Zelfa concession was granted in April 2004 for a 30 years period ending on April 19th, 2034, and it comprises the Zelfa discovery as well as several other prospects which could be of interest. In addition, ENI is producing from the neighboring Maamoura concession from, inter alia, a structure that straddles the limit between the two concessions, using unmanned offshore platform, linked to an onshore process plant via sea-lines.
